The City of Paris and the Institut français, France’s international agency for foreign cultural policy affiliated to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, are pleased to inform you that the application call for the 2015 program of foreign artists’ residences at the Centre International des Récollets is now open for its twelfth year.
This program is dedicated to established writers and artists in the fields of visual and performing arts who have already achieved international recognition. Applicants are selected by a consultative committee, on the basis of the project that they wish to develop in Paris during their residence. This project should be carried out in partnership with a specified structure, company, artist, or well-known cultural or artistic leader in Paris or surrounding area. Each research project must be realised in harmony with Paris and its cultural environment.
Successful candidates will be accommodated in one of the four residential studios at the Récollets Convent, a magnificent building in the centre of Paris, on the banks of the Canal Saint-Martin, which, since its renovation in 2003, has hosted artists and scientists from all over the world.
The residency period is three consecutive months with a monthly grant of 1500 euros.
Applications should be made online, starting from April 17th, 2014, at the following web-site:

Deadline for applications: June 17th 2014
