French-Swedish Research Days 2026

Welcome to our annual French-Swedish Research Days: Journées franco-suédoises de la recherche. This year’s event will be held in Stockholm on September 16th and 17th, in collaboration with Svensk Elektronik, the Association franco-suédoise pour la recherche (AFSR) and the French Embassy in Sweden.

The theme of this year’s French-Swedish Research Days is semiconductors.

Date and time: September 16 and 17, 2026
Location: Näringslivets Hus (Storgatan 19, 114 51 Stockholm) & Historiska Museet (Narvavägen 17, 114 84 Stockholm)

(Participation is free of charge, but registration is required.)

The objectives:

• Implement the French-Swedish strategic innovation partnership for sustainable, digital and resilient societies, which was renewed on 30 January 2024, during the State visit of the President of the French Republic to Sweden;
• Take stock of existing industrial and scientific cooperation in the field of semiconductors with a view to strengthening it;
• To encourage the formation of consortia for European projects;
• Promote and initiate specific collaborations between France and Sweden in this field to contribute to European excellence and sovereignty in this area at several levels.
