Under Kulturnatten 2025 erbjuder Franska Institutet ett evenemang på temat gobelänger på Frankrikes residens. I samband med detta har vi nöjet att erbjuda en paneldiskussion på Konstfack i Stockholm den 24 april kl. 16.00. Paneldiskussionen kommer att fokusera på forskning och tekniska experiment inom Jacquardvävstekniken.

Join us for a panel discussion exploring contemporary approaches to Jacquard weaving, featuring four panelists from diverse artistic backgrounds:
- Marc Johnson – Visual artist and filmmaker, PhD at Stockholm University of the Arts
- Mona Cara – Textile artist based in Paris
- Lisa Hagström – Textile artist and hand weaver, based in Stockholm
- Matilda Dominique – Textile artist and hand weaver, based in Stockholm
The conversation will be moderated by Ulrika Mårtensson Hanje and will delve into the intersections of art, craft, and technology within the realm of Jacquard weaving.
This event is held in connection with the X-Factor exhibition atKonstfack, showcasing works by four textile artists and hand weavers working with Jacquard technique, curated by Åsa Pärson.
