This event is the first one of the series The Changing Arctic.
The Changing Arctic is a series of Nordic-French seminars that will address key Artic issues in the field of research. They are a meeting place for French and Nordic scientists, but also a discussion forum with the public. The seminars will take place in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden during 2016. They will address topics like urbanization, health, governance, patrimony, and environment.
The purpose of this series is to create a meeting point for researchers with interest in these topics, and to have a discussion with the public during an open lecture. We aim thus at widening and/or strengthening the network of French and Nordic experts working.
The Urban Arctic will take place the 10th of June at Västerbottens Museum, Bio Abelli. It is organized by the Institut français de Suède, the Region Västerbotten, Arcum and the research program Mistra Arctic Sustainable Development.
You can download the program here: Urban Artic Program
The participation is free, but registration is mandatory and must be done before May 30th: http://ifsuede.wufoo.com/forms/the-urban-arctic/
The participants will have the possibility to present their research with a poster. You can submit yours online (link above) or send an email with your abstract at nelly.guitard@diplomatie.gouv.fr.
